Ingredients
- 1 12 lbs apples
- 4 cups water
- 1 teaspoon cornstarch
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 13 cup sugar
- 34 cup sour cream
- macaroni or crouton
Instructions
- Cover 2/3 or apples, quartered, with boiling water and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Rub through a sieve.
- Add cornstarch mixed with 1 tbs.
- water.
- Bring to boil.
- Add cinnamon and sugar.
- Remove from the heat.
- Add the rest of the apples, peeled and shredded, add sour cream.
- Serve warm or cold with macaroni or croutons agter the meat course.
