Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons flour
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 cup milk (lowfat is fine)
- 1 cup Velveeta cheese (light is fine)
- 1 cup shredded mexican style cheese
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- 1 teaspoon new mexico chile powder
- 12 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 12 teaspoon garlic salt
Instructions
- Make a roux using the butter and flour.
- When fully mixed and warm, slowly add milk; whisking to remove any lumps.
- Add velveeta slowly until melted, then add shredded Mexican cheese.
- Once all cheese is melted and smooth, add spices.
- Serve with fresh veggies, corn chips, or pretzles.
