Ingredients
- 2 cups self-raising flour
- 30 g butter
- chopped
- 34 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons pizza sauce
- 1 small onion
- sliced
- 100 g salami
- sliced
- 12 red capsicum
- chopped
- 100 g button mushrooms
- sliced
- 1 12 cups grated mozzarella cheese (or pizza cheese mix)
- extra 1 tablespoon milk
Instructions
- 1.
- Sift flour into a large bowl; rub in butter until mixture resembles breadcrumbs.
- Make a well in centre of mixture; por in milk.
- Using a knife, mix to a soft, sticky dough.
- Turn dough onto a floured surface; knead until smooth, around 5 minutes.
- 2.
- Roll dough on floured surface to form a 30cm x 40 cm rectangle.
- Spread with pizza sauce; layer with onion, salami, capsicum, mushrooms, and cheese.
- Roll up dough from one long side; place onto a baking-paper lined oven tray.
- 3.
- Using a sharp knife, make deep cuts at 3cm intervals along roll, ensuring not to cut all the way through roll.
- Brush with extra milk.
- 4.
- Cook in hot oven, 200;C, for about 25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooke through.
- 5.
- Serve in slices.
