Ingredients

  • 1 each eggs slightly beaten
  • 1/2 cup buttermilk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon worcestershire sauce
  • 23 cup bread crumbs
  • 113 cups flour

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Dip steaks in buttermilk mixture, dredge in flour mixture.
  2. Let stand for 10 minutes on paper towels.
  3. Fry steaks in 1/4 inch vegetable oil in a heavy skillet at medium high heat until browned, adding oil as necessary.
  4. Remove steaks and drain on paper towels.
  5. Pour off pan drippings, reserving 3 Tb.

  8. Boil 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  9. Add 2 cups milk; cook until thickened, stirring constantly.

  12. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes.
