Ingredients
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 13 cup brown sugar (packed)
- 12 cup butter (cold)
- 12 cup pecans (chopped)
- 8 ounces cream cheese (1 packaged
- softened)
- 14 cup sugar
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 12 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 cup M&M (miniature, sub any type of candy)
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine flour and brown sugar.
- Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in pecans and set aside 1/2 cup for topping.
- Press remaining crumb mixture into a greased 9 in.square pa.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 min.
- (or until edges are lightly browned).
- In a mixing bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar (until well mixed).
- Add egg, milk, lemon juice and vanilla; mix well.
- Pour over warm crust.
- Sprinkle on reserved crumb mix.
- Bake for 25 -30 minute or until set.
- Once done, immediately sprinkle with candy.
- And cool on wire racks.
- Cut into bars.
