Ingredients

  • 2 c. whole wheat flour
  • 2 c. mixed flour (e.g.
  • oat flour
  • wheat flakes
  • bran
  • oat bran)
  • 1 pt. buttermilk or possibly plain yogurt
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoon brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon baking soda

Instructions

  1. Place all dry ingredients in bowl.
  2. Add in yogurt and stir lightly.
  3. Place dough in well greased loaf pan.
  4. Oil a knife, cut a 1/2 inch deep groove down center of bread.
  5. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
