Ingredients
- 2 1/2 c. whole wheat flour
- 1/4 c. wheat germ
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1 clove garlic
- crushed
- 4 tbsp. butter
- softened
- 1 egg
- beaten
- 1 tbsp. molasses
Instructions
- Combine flour, wheat germ, garlic, and healthy pinch of salt in a large bowl.
- Cut in butter.
- Stir in beaten egg, molasses, and lowfat milk.
- Add in sufficient water so mix can be shaped into a ball.
- Roll dough onto a floured board to a thickness of 1/2 inch.
- Cut with any shape cookie cutter and place on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 20 min.
- Makes approximately 30 biscuits.
