  • 4 slices Whole Grain Bread
  • 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder (optional)
  • 1- 1/2 teaspoon Italian Seasoning
  • Optional

Instructions

  1. You have two options to dry out the bread: (1) Take those last 3-4 slices of whole wheat bread out of the bag and set them out on the counter for a couple days until they are hard and crunchy (this is what I do).
  2. (2) Place bread on a cookie sheet in a 250-300 degrees F oven for 20-30 minutes, or until its all dried out.
  3. Break up your hard bread into chunks and place in a food processor.
  4. Pulse until bread crumbs form.
  5. Its your choice whether you want a fine crumb or a heavier crumb!
  6. Thats the beauty of making your own!

  8. For seasoned breadcrumbs, added the garlic powder and Italian seasoning.
  9. Store in an airtight container.
