White Bean and Onion Dip

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cups Green Onion
  • Roughly Sliced
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • Peeled And Roughly Minced
  • 2- 1/2 cups Pre-Cooked White Beans (Or 18 Ounces Canned Cannellini Beans)
  • 2 Tablespoons Tahini Paste
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Squeezed Lemon Juice
  • 1/2 teaspoons Cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoons Fresh Ground Black Pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoons Dried Oregano

Instructions

  1. Drain and rinse beans, reserving about 1/2 cup of cooking liquid (or canned liquid).
  2. Combine all ingredients in a food processor, except bean liquid.
  3. Process until smooth, slowly adding reserved juice until it reaches desired consistency.
  4. Serve with veggies, pita chips, or use in the place of mayonnaise on a sandwich for a healthier and protein-packed alternative!
  5. Sprinkle some cumin on top for garnish!
