Ingredients

  • 1/4 cups Butter
  • Unsalted
  • 6 Green Onions
  • Sliced
  • 1 Red Bell Pepper
  • Stem And Seeds Removed Then Chopped
  • 1 Green Bell Pepper
  • Stem And Seeds Removed
  • Then Chopped
  • 1- 1/2 pound Large Shrimp
  • Peeled
  • Chopped
  • 14 ounces
  • weight Andouille Sausage
  • Chopped
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • Chopped
  • 1- 1/2 teaspoon Creole Seasoning
  • 1 package (8 Oz. Size) Cream Cheese
  • 1/2 cups Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons Fresh Parsley
  • Toasted French Bread Baguette
  • Sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Using a Dutch oven melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Add green onions and peppers.
  4. Cook for 6 to 8 minutes, stirring occasionally or until peppers are tender.
  5. Stir in shrimp, sausage, garlic, and Creole seasoning.
  6. Cook for 2 minutes continuing to stir all ingredients together.
  7. Reduce heat to low, add cream cheese and stir until cheese is melted.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese.
  9. Spoon mixture into a 2 quart baking dish.
  10. Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
  11. Bake at 400 degrees F for 25 to 30 minutes or until bubbly and lightly browned (or if youre like me, maybe a little toasted brown in certain places).
  12. Remove from oven.
  13. Sprinkle with parsley and serve warm with French bread for dipping.
