Ingredients
- 1 pound grnd beef
- in bite size pcs
- 1/2 c. flour
- 1/4 c. butter
- 2 c. tomatoes (1 pound can)
- 1 (8 ounce.) can tomato sauce
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 3 tbsp. Parmesan
- 1 tbsp. sweet basil
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic salt
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/4 pound longhorn or possibly mild cheddar
- sliced
Instructions
- Coat meat with flour.
- Brown in butter.
- Stir in remaining ingredients, except cheese.
- Cover and simmer 30 min.
- Turn into pastry lined pan.
- Top with cheese slices.
- Roll out remaining dough and place over cheese, crimping edges together.
- Bake at 400 degrees or possibly 30-35 min, or possibly till golden.
