Ingredients
- 1 leftover turkey carcass or possibly 2 whole chicken breasts
- 3 quarts. water
- 1 lg. onion
- minced
- 6 carrots
- minced
- 4 stalks celery
- minced
- 1 tbsp. parsley
- 1 teaspoon dill weed
- 6 chicken bouillon cubes
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
- 2 c. noodles or possibly 1 1/2 c. rice
Instructions
- Simmer poultry about 1 hour.
- Strain, reserving liquid.
- Pick meat off of bones.
- Return liquid and poultry to pan.
- Add in remaining ingredients except noodles or possibly rice.
- Simmer about 2 more hrs.
- Add in noodles or possibly rice and cook till done, about 15 min more.
