Tuna and Ricotta Balls

Ingredients

  • 5-13 ounces
  • weight Canned Tuna
  • 4- 1/2 ounces
  • weight Ricotta Cheese
  • 2 Tablespoons Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 whole Egg
  • 3 Tablespoons Bread Crumbs
  • Plus 1/4 Cup To Coat
  • Divided
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 Tablespoons Chopped Parsley
  • 1/2 cups Canola Oil
  • To Fry

Instructions

  1. Grab the can of tuna, in spring water or in oil (both are fine).
  2. Put the tuna in a bowl and use a fork to crumble it.
  3. Add the ricotta cheese, parmesan cheese, egg, 3 tablespoons bread crumbs, salt and parsley and with your hand, mix all ingredients until well combined.
  4. Also with you hands, form small flat balls the size of a chestnut and coat each ball in the remaining 1/4 cup bread crumbs.
  5. Fry in hot oil on both sides for about 34 minutes per side.
  6. Remove from the oil and serve with a fresh salad!
