Ingredients

  • 2 whole Cleaned Trout
  • 3 Tablespoons Butter
  • 1 whole Sweet Vidalia Onion
  • 3 slices Lemon
  • Per Fish
  • 1 dash Salt And Pepper
  • to taste
  • 1 sprig Fresh Parsley

Instructions

  1. Begin with whole, cleaned trout.
  2. On a large piece of foil, drop three spoonfuls of butter and at least five slices of the onion and about 2 slices of lemon.
  3. Place the trout on top of the onions, lemon, & butter, then sprinkle with salt, pepper, and a few sprigs of the fresh parsley, and fold the foil over to form a bag.
  4. Try to seal the bag and make it as airtight as possible.
  5. Bake in the oven for 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
  6. When removing from the oven, cut a small hole into the bag, pour out the excess lemon-butter juice and use for garnishing, drizzling and tipping.
  7. Makes the most flavorful, moist trout youve ever had.
