Ingredients
- 1/2 c. non-fat dry lowfat milk pwdr
- 2 c. lowfat milk (or possibly whipping cream diluted
- 3 parts water to 1 part cream)
- 2 tbsp. Arrowroot
- 1/2 c. honey
- 4 egg whites
- 1/4 c. plain yogurt
Instructions
- Combine dry lowfat milk and Arrowroot.
- Place in a double boiler over medium heat and slowly add in lowfat milk stirring constantly.
- Cook about 5 to 8 min till mix begins to thicken.
- Remove from heat and stir in egg whites.
- Stir in honey.
- Beat thoroughly.
- Allow to cold and mix in yogurt.
- Place in freezer tray and freeze till crystals form.
- Remove from freezer and beat thoroughly till creamy.
- Return to freezer tray and freeze.
- Yield: 1 qt.
