Ingredients
- 1 pound tomatoes
- 1/2 pound mozzarella
- Salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 tbsp.. white wine vinegar
- 1 1/2 tbsp. basil
Instructions
- Skin the tomatoes and slice them thinly and proportionately.
- Lay them on one half of a flat serving dish.
- Cut the cheese into thin slices and lay them on the other half of the same dish.
- Season the tomatoes with salt and black pepper, the mozzarella with pepper only.
- Pour extra virgin olive oil, vinegar over cheese and tomatoes, then scatter the minced basil over all.
- Allow the salad to stand for a little while before serving.
