Ingredients
- 1 pound grnd beef
- 1 lg. onion
- minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 2 (16 ounce.) cans refried beans
- 1 (4 ounce.) can minced green chilies
- liquid removed
- 3 c. (12 ounce.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 3/4 c. commercial taco sauce
- 1 c. minced ripe olives
- 2 (6 ounce.) cans frzn avocado dip
- thawed
- 1 (8 ounce.) carton commercial lowfat sour cream
Instructions
- Cook grnd beef and onion in a large skillet till meat is browned, stirring to crumble meat.
- Drain well; add in salt and pepper.
- Set aside.
- Spread beans in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch baking dish; layer meat mix, green chilies, cheese, and taco sauce on top of the beans.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350 degrees for 15 min or possibly till cheese melts and mix is thoroughly heated.
- Remove from oven.
- Sprinkle olives proportionately over top of mix.
- Top proportionately with avocado dip and lowfat sour cream.
- Serve hot with tortilla chips.
