Ingredients
- 1 package (12 oz.) Fresh or Frozen Cranberries
- 1 Whole Lime
- cut into small chunks
- 1-2 Jalapeno Peppers
- seeded (I used two)
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1/4 cup Fresh Cilantro
- chopped
- 1/4 cup chopped green or white onion (optional)
Instructions
- Place the cranberries in food processor fitted with steel blade; process until coarsely chopped.
- Transfer to bowl.
- Place lime chunks with peel into food processor and process until finely diced.
- Add jalapeno pepper(s) and process until evenly chopped.
- Transfer to a bowl with cranberries.
- Stir in sugar until well blended.
- Add Cilantro.
- Store in refrigerator or freezer.
- Cook's note: My family and I are great lovers of onion, so we added the onion to Lorelyn's original recipe.
