Ingredients
- 50 grams Dried young sardines (or anchovies)
- 1 Roasted sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 1 and 1/2 tablespoon Soy sauce
Instructions
- Dry roast the dried young sardines over low heat for about 10 minutes (until they are crisp).
- Transfer to a colander to strain to remove the broken bits.
- Boil the seasoning ingredients; at first, tiny bubbles will form.
- Boil until large bubbles start to appear.
- Turn off the heat, add the dried young sardines, then coat in the sauce.
- Transfer to a tray lined with parchment paper, sprinkle on some toasted sesame seeds, then serve.
