Ingredients
- 4 cup sweet potatoes (4med)
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 stick soften butter
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 stick butter cut up
- 1 cup chopped pecans
Instructions
- baked sweet potatoes @ 350 degrees F until soft, (about 45 min depending on size) let cool
- peel skin off potatoes add to mixing bowl
- add sugar, eggs, milk, salt, 1 stick of butter.
- Mix well, put in a buttered dish.
- bake @ 350 degrees F for 30 min
- Meanwhile for topping in a bowl add brown sugar, flour, cut up butter, pecans.
- Mix together so it looks like crumbs.
- I find that if I mix it with my hand it gets the right type of crumbs.
- spread on top back 5 more minutes
