Ingredients
- 18 new potatoes
- unpeeled and quartered
- 2 small onions
- finely chopped
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon salt
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1 12 cups milk
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 tablespoons white vinegar
Instructions
- Boil potatoes until tender.
- Drain and set aside.
- In saucepan, saute onions in butter until transparent.
- Stir in sugar, salt and flour.
- Gradually add milk.
- Simmer until thick, stirring constantly.
- Add sour cream and vinegar; cook until sauce bubbles.
- Combine sauce and potatoes.
