Ingredients
- 1 lb Boneless chicken breast
- trimmed and cut into bite size chunks
- 3 tbsp Low sodium soy sauce
- or substitute
- 1 tbsp Olive oil
- 3 tsp Honey or agave syrup
- 1/4 cup Garlic powder
- 2 tbsp White
- untoasted sesame seeds (or to taste)
- 1 pinch Black pepper
- 1 pinch Ground ginger
- 1 pinch Ground cinnamon
- 2 cup Whole wheat flour (or regular flour)
- 1 tsp Minced garlic
- 1 as needed Coconut oil for cooking chicken
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients except for the chicken, minced garlic, coconut oil, and flour in a bowl.
- You can add more pepper, ground ginger, and ground cinnamon to taste.
- I use a pinch or two of each.
- Coat chicken with flour and set aside
- In a large skillet add small amount of Coconut oil (about a tsp to a tbsp), minced garlic and chicken.
- Brown the chicken lightly on medium to medium high heat.
- After the chicken is cooked add the sauce.
- Stir the sauce around the chicken and cook for a few minutes on medium to low heat.
- Don't let sauce boil it thickens very quickly.
