Ingredients
- 1 gallon green tomato
- quartered
- 6 onions
- med
- chopped
- 6 red sweet peppers
- chopped
- 6 green sweet peppers
- chopped
- 6 medium cucumbers
- sliced
- 12 cup salt
- 1 tablespoon celery seed
- 3 lbs sugar
- 1 pint white vinegar
Instructions
- Quarter tomatoes; chop onions.
- Cut up red and green peppers and cucumbers.
- Place tomatoes, onions, salt, and water to cover in a large kettle.
- Cook for 10 min
- Drain; do not stir.
- Add red and green peppers, cucumbers, celry seed, sugar, and vinegar.
- Cook for 20 min or until vegetables are tender.
- Spoon into sterilized pint jars.
- Seal.
