Stupendous Stuffed Cabbage

Ingredients

• 12 large cabbage leaves
• 2 lbs ground beef
• 12 cup instant rice
• cooked (1 cup cooked)
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 12 teaspoon pepper
• 1 small chopped onion
• 1 egg
• 2 tablespoons Wesson Oil
• 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
• 3 tablespoons brown sugar
• 14 cup water
• 1 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

1. Boil cabbage until tender.
2. Combine beef, egg, COOKED instant rice, salt, pepper, & onion.
3. Roll mixture into cabbage leaves.
4. Secure cabbage together with toothpicks.
5. Brown cabbage with meat mixture inside, browning leaves on all sides in Wesson oil.
6. After browning, put cabbage rolls in sperate saucepan.
7. Mix sauce ingredients & pour over rolls.
8. Cover.
9. Simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
