Steamed Asparagus with Tangerines
Ingredients
- Coarse salt
- Pepper
- 2 lb. asparagus
- 2 tangerines
Instructions
- In a large skillet over high heat, bring 1 inch salted water to a boil.
- Add asparagus in a single layer.
- Return to boil, cover, and steam until crisp-tender, 3 to 6 minutes.
- Using a slotted spoon, transfer to a shallow bowl or platter.
- Scatter tangerines over asparagus and pour reserved juice on top.
- Season with salt and pepper.
