Stained Glass Cookies with Store-bought Candies

Ingredients

• 1 whole or half amount Cookie dough
• 1 Store-bought candies (small candies are useful)

Instructions

1. Prepare the candies.
2. If you are using store-bought small candies, you don't need to crush them.
3. When you are using normal-size candies that don't fit into the cutout, please crush them.
4. Make the cookie dough.. Half the recipe will make about 1 baking sheet of cookies.
5. Cut shapes with your favourite cookie cutter.
6. Place the cookie dough on parchment paper, and cut out a shape in the middle so that you can put candies inside.
7. Preheat the oven to 170C.
8. Bake only the dough in the oven preheated to 170C for 10 minutes before putting candies inside.
9. Once baked, remove the baking sheet from the oven.
10. Place the candies inside the cutout section.
11. Adjust the amount of candies depending on the size of the cutout.
12. Return the cookies to the oven heated to 170C, and bake for about 7 minutes until the candies have melted.
13. Remove the baking sheet from the oven, and slide off the cookies with the parchment paper.
14. Let them cool.
15. When the candies have hardened, they are done.
