Ingredients

  • 1 paratha dough
  • 1 cup spinach
  • cleaned & finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon red chili powder
  • 12 teaspoon chat masala
  • salt
  • 2 tablespoons plain flour
  • oil (to shallow fry)

Instructions

  1. The spinach must be towel dried well.
  2. Mix all dry ingredients together.
  3. Roll a lump of dough as for paratha.
  4. Spread some spinach over it.
  5. Sprinkle some dry mixture all over.
  6. Make a tight Swiss roll.
  7. Now twist into a coil.
  8. Press together and re-roll to full size.
  9. Shallow fry and serve hot.
  10. Variation: Use chopped fenugreek leaves instead of spinach to make'Methi Paratha'.
