Ingredients
- 35 brussels sprouts
- cleaned and core removed
- 9 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
- 5 tbsp fresh lemon juice
- 1 zest of lemon
- 1/2 cup pine nuts
- 3/4 cup shaved romano cheese
- 1/2 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
- 1 salt and fresh ground pepper to taste
- 1 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Thinly slice dried, cleaned, core removed sprouts.
- In a mixing bowl, add the sprouts, oil, vinegar, lemon zest and juice, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes.
- Cover bowl, and let stand 25 minutes.
- After 25 minutes add pine nuts and cheese.
- Toss
- Place in serving bowl.Top each serving with some extra pine nuts and a touch of cheese if you like!
