Soy Lime Roasted Tofu

Ingredients

  • 14 ounces tofu extra-firm
  • water-packed
  • drained
  • 1 package
  • 13 cup soy sauce
  • sodium reduced
  • 13 cup lime juice
  • 3 tablespoons sesame oil toasted

Instructions

  1. Pat tofu dry and cut into 1/2- to 3/4 inch cubes.
  2. Combine soy sauce, lime juice and oil in a medium shallow dish or large sealable plastic bag.
  3. Add the tofu; gently toss to combine.
  4. Marinate in the refrigerator for 1 hour or up to 4 hours, gently stirring once or twice.
  5. Preheat oven to 450F.
  6. Remove the tofu from the marinade with a slotted spoon (discard marinade).
  7. Spread out on a large baking sheet, making sure the pieces are not touching.
  8. Roast, gently turning halfway through, until golden brown, about 20 minutes.
