Soy-Ginger Steaming Liquid
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 3 tablespoons sherry
- 3 tablespoons minced fresh ginger (unpeeled)
- 4 large cloves garlic
- coarsely chopped
- 2 1/2 cups water
Instructions
- Combine the soy sauce, sherry, ginger, garlic and water in the bottom of the steaming equipment.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat and simmer for 1 minute.
- Begin steaming.
- Add boiling water if too much of the liquid evaporates before cooking is complete.
