Ingredients
- 3 tbsp bacon grease
- 1/4 cup ap flour
- 3 cup milk
- 1 salt & pepper
Instructions
- Heat grease in medium-sized frying pan on medium-high heat.
- Slowly whisk in flour to avoid lumps.
- Once all flour is mixed in, slowly whisk in milk (about 1/2 cup at a time).
- Allow milk to get hot before adding more.
- Once all milk is added, heat and whisk until gravy reaches desired thickness.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- *Slowly whisk in more flour if too thin or more milk if too thick.
- I just eyeball the ingredients, but these measurements are really close.
- It took me a few tries years ago to get my gravy to perfection!
