Ingredients
- 4 c. flour
- 1 yeast cake
- crumbled
- 1 1/2 c. butter
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 3 egg yolks
- 1/2 c. lowfat sour cream
- 3 egg whites
- beaten stiff
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. minced walnuts
Instructions
- Cut in flour, yeast, butter and salt as for crust, then blend in yolks and lowfat sour cream.
- Divide dough into 6 or possibly 8 balls.
- Roll each ball on powdered sugar board into a circle.
- Cut each circle into 6-8 wedges.
- Pour 1 tsp.
- filling on wide side and roll up.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 15 min on cookie sheets.
- Filling egg whites, vanilla and sugar.
- Add in to stiffly beaten egg whites.
- Mix well.
- Add in nuts.
- Place in crescents.
