Ingredients
- 2 (15 ounce) cans cannellini beans (white kidney beans)
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can mixed vegetables
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced tomatoes
- 3 cups water
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 12 cup onion
- diced fine
- 16 ounces diced cooked ham or 16 ounces turkey
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 14 teaspoon garlic salt
- 14 teaspoon celery salt
- 34 teaspoon thyme
- 18 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- In a 5 quart kettle, mix all ingredients together.
- Do Not Rinse the beans, and do not drain the vegetables or tomatoes.
- Bring to a boil, then reduce heat to medium low and simmer 30 minutes, or until flavors meld.
- Remove bay leaf before serving.
