Ingredients
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 2 squares melted chocolate
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 Large eggs
- beaten
- 1 3/4 c. flour
- 1/2 teaspoon soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 c. nuts
- if you like
Instructions
- Cream shortening and sugar thoroughly; add in chocolate, Large eggs and vanilla, mixing well.
- Sift dry ingredients together and add in alternately with lowfat milk, ending with dry ingredients.
- Add in nuts.
- Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.
- Bake in a moderate 350 degree oven for 12-15 min.
- Cold, then frost.
- Let this batter set a few min before you start baking the cookies.
- They are better if you make small cookies.
