Skillet Herb-Roasted Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 14 teaspoon dried basil leaves
  • crushed
  • 14 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
  • crushed
  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breast half
  • 2 tablespoons margarine or 2 tablespoons butter
  • 12 cup water
  • 4 cups hot cooked rice (
  • with parsley)

Instructions

  1. On waxed paper, combine flour, basil and thyme.
  2. Coat chicken lightly with flour mixture.
  3. In large skillet over medium-high heat, melt margarine.
  4. Cook chicken 15 minutes or until browned on both sides and no longer pink.
  5. Remove from skillet; keep warm.
  6. Serve with rice.
