Ingredients
- 1 whole Onion
- 2 teaspoons Garlic
- Minced
- 1 teaspoon Ginger
- Minced
- 2 sticks Cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon Ground Coriander
- 1 teaspoon Ground Cumin
- 4 teaspoons Curry Powder
- 1 teaspoon Turmeric
- 1 pinch Salt And Pepper
- 2 whole Roma Tomatoes
- Chopped
- 1 pound Lamb
- Cubed
Instructions
- Chop the onion and fry it with the garlic and ginger in a hot pan.
- Add the cinnamon sticks to the onion mix while it is cooking.
- Next, add the spices, salt and pepper and chopped tomato to the mix.
- Once it is blended, add the lamb to the frying pan.
- Mix with the spices and onion.
- Transfer the mixture to a casserole dish and bake (covered) in a 300 degrees F oven for 1 1/2 hours.
- Serve over basmati rice with a salad.
