Shrimp in Ginger Cream Sauce with Fettucine

Ingredients

  • 1-1/2 lb. shrimp
  • cooked
  • peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp. olive oil
  • 4 to 6 cloves garlic
  • minced
  • 4 tbsp. grated ginger root
  • 1/2 cup semi-dry blush wine
  • 1/2 cup heavy
  • light cream
  • 1/2 cup fresh cilantro
  • chopped
  • 2 limes
  • juice of
  • Salt
  • to taste

Instructions

  1. Saute oil, garlic and ginger until fragrant.
  2. Wisk in the wine and let it evaporate.
  3. Add the cream and cook until reduced.
  4. Add cilantro, lime and salt.
  5. Mix the shrimp in last and warm them in the sauce.
  6. Serve over fettucine pasta.
