Ingredients
- 3 lbs. short ribs
- 2 tbsp. fat
- 1 onion
- diced
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 teaspoon dry mustard
- 1 tbsp. flour
- 2 tbsp. vinegar
- 2 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/4 teaspoon lemon rind
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1 can green lima beans
Instructions
- Brown ribs in fat - remove to casserole.
- Saute/fry onions, pour off drippings.
- Add in remaining ingredients except lima beans.
- Bring to a boil - pour over ribs in casserole dish.
- Bake uncovered 1 1/4 hrs at 400 degrees or possibly till meat is tender.
- Add in lima beans.
- Cover and bake 30 min longer.
- Garnish with slices of onions.
