Sesame-Ginger Slaw

Ingredients

  • 1 head Napa cabbage
  • 1 large carrot
  • 13 c. pickled ginger
  • 3 tbsp. seasoned rice-wine vinegar
  • 3 tbsp. toasted sesame oil
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3/4 tsp. black sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl of cold water, swirl cabbage, allowing any grit to fall to bottom.
  2. Transfer cabbage to a clean bowl.
  3. Add carrot and combine.
  4. In a small bowl, whisk together remaining ingredients.
  5. Pour over cabbage mixture and toss to coat.
  6. Serve immediately.
