Sauteed Hanpen Seasoned with Mentsuyu and Ao-nori Seaweed

Ingredients

  • 1 Hanpen
  • 1 small Onion
  • 1 tbsp Aonori
  • 1 splash Mentsuyu (3x concentrate)
  • 1 tbsp Butter or margarine

Instructions

  1. Thinly slice the onion into wedges.
  2. Cut the hanpen into bite-sized pieces.
  3. Melt butter in a pan, and saute the onion until tender.
  4. Add the hanpen to the onions from Step 2.
  5. Pour in a splash of mentsuyu, then sprinkle on aonori.
  6. Of course, this recipe also works with chikuwa!
