Sausage With Spinach (Ww and Crockpot)

Ingredients

  • 6 sweet turkey Italian sausages
  • 1 12 cups chicken broth
  • 1 (1 lb) package frozen pearl onions
  • thawed
  • 12 cup golden raisin
  • kosher salt
  • pepper
  • 1 (10 ounce) package Baby Spinach
  • 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 3 cups cooked rice

Instructions

  1. Spray skillet with Pam and set over medium high heat.
  2. Add sausages and brown, turning (8-10 minutes).
  3. Remove from skillet and set aside.
  4. Add broth to skillet and cook for 2 minutes.
  5. Transfer to crockpot.
  6. Stir in onions, raisins, salt and pepper and top with the sausages.
  7. Cover and cook for 8-10 hours on low (4-6 hours on high).
  8. Transfer sausages to a cutting board and cut each diagonally into 5 slices.
  9. Put half of the spinach into crockpot cooking just until wilted and then repeat with remaining spinach.
  10. Stir in sausages and vinegar.
  11. Serve with rice.
