Ingredients
- 1 pound pork sausage (warm or possibly mild)
- 1/2 c. green pepper
- minced
- 4 tbsp. minced onions
- 1/2 teaspoon dry oregano
- crushed
- 2 (8 ounce.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 c. elbow macaroni
- cooked
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 sm. can mushrooms
- liquid removed (opt.)
Instructions
- Brown sausage; add in green peppers and onion and oregano.
- Add in a dash of pepper.
- Stir in tomato sauce and 1/2 c. water.
- Simmer for 5 min.
- Add in mushrooms and macaroni.
- Put in a 2-qt casserole dish.
- Mix half of cheese into mix and top with remaining half.
- Cover and bake at 350 degrees for about 35 min.
