Ingredients
- 1 (10 to 12 ounce.) pkg. corn bread mix
- 1 pound sausage meat
- 4 c. celery
- minced
- 3 c. onion
- minced
- 1 c. green pepper
- 1/4 c. parsley
- minced
- 1 1/2 teaspoon rubbed savory
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dry sage leaves
- 1 1/2 teaspoon dry thyme leaves
- 1 tbsp. salt
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper
- 1 can chicken broth
- 3 Large eggs
- slightly beaten
Instructions
- Prepare corn bread as directed on package.
- In a skillet, saute/fry sausage till brown.
- Add in celery, onion, green pepper, and parsley.
- Saute/fry 8 to 10 min.
- Crumble cooled corn bread in to a large bowl.
- Add in sausage mix, savory, sage, thyme, salt and pepper.
- Gradually add in chicken broth and Large eggs, tossing lightly with a fork.
