Sausage & Apple Corn Muffins

Ingredients

• 1 egg
• 1/2 cup applesauce
• 1/4 cup milk
• 1 pkg. (8.5 oz.) corn muffin mix
• 4 OSCAR MAYER Ready to Serve Pork Sausage Patties
• chopped
• 1 small Granny Smith apple
• chopped
• 2 Tbsp. KRAFT Shredded Mild Cheddar Cheese

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Beat egg, applesauce and milk in medium bowl with wire whisk until well blended.
2. Add muffin mix; stir just until moistened.
3. Stir in all remaining ingredients except cheese.
4. Spoon into six 2-1/2-inch muffin cups sprayed with cooking spray.
5. Bake 12 min.
6. or until wooden toothpick inserted in centers comes out clean.
7. Sprinkle with cheese.
8. Bake an additional 3 min.
9. or until cheese is melted.
10. Cool in pan on wire rack 5 min.
11. before removing muffins from pan.
12. Cool to desired temperature.
