Ingredients
- 1/2 pound sweet Italian sausage
- 1 (10-11 ounce. pkg.) pie crust mix
- 2 c. lowfat milk
- 4 lg. Large eggs
- 1/4 pound Cheddar cheese
- shredded (1 c.)
Instructions
- About 1 1/2 hrs before serving, remove casings from the sausage.
- In a 10 inch skillet cook sausage.
- Remove with slotted spoon.
- Meanwhile reserve 1/4 c. pie crust mix.
- In a medium bowl add in the remaining mix and 4-5 Tbsp.
- cool water.
- Roll between 2 pcs of wax paper.
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- In medium bowl whisk Large eggs, lowfat milk and reserved pie crust mix.
- Stir in cheese and sausage.
- Pour into the pie shell and bake for 15 min.
- Turn oven down to 325 degrees and bake 35 min more.
- Makes 8 pcs.
