Satoimo Taro Tumbles
Ingredients
- 500 grams Taro root
- 400 ml Water
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 3 tbsp Soy sauce
Instructions
- Rub salt into the taro potatoes.
- Simmer over low heat for 5 minutes, then rinse with water.
- Add the water and other ingredients, then cook over medium heat, stirring occasionally to evenly flavor.
- Once the water comes to a boil, reduce to low heat and simmer until the liquid reduces.
