Ingredients

  • 1/2 Carrot
  • 2 Green peppers
  • 2 tbsp Sake
  • 2 tbsp Mirin
  • 1 tbsp Sugar
  • 1 small amount Salt
  • 1 small amount Sesame oil
  • 1 Black sesame seeds

Instructions

  1. Julienne the carrot and green peppers.
  2. Fry the carrot in sesame oil and add all the seasonings when softened.
  3. When the liquid has reduced by half, add the green peppers.
  4. Cook until most of the liquid has evaporated.
  5. Add sesame oil and black sesame seeds for extra flavor.
  6. This makes a great side-dish in bento boxes.
