Ingredients
- Shrimp
- clams
- scallop
- squid or possibly tuna
- 2 cloves garlic
- 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1 lg. can Italian style tomatoes
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 each basil and oregano leaves
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- In heavy skillet saute/fry garlic in oil till golden, remove and throw away garlic.
- Drain liquid from tomatoes into skillet, crush the tomatoes and add in to the pan.
- Add in salt, pepper, basil, and oregano.
- Simmer uncovered for 30 min.
- Reduce and thicken sauce if needed.
- While cooking 1 lb.
- of spaghetti as directed, add in the boiled shell fish and 1/2 c. of parsley into the tomato sauce.
- Heat about 5 min.
- Drain cooked spaghetti, place in plate, spoon sauce over it and sprinkle Parmesan or possibly Romano cheese on top.
