Ingredients
- 1 cup sugar
- 12 cup butter
- 1 14 cups chocolate syrup
- 3 eggs
- 3 teaspoons rum
- 1 14 cups unbleached flour
- 1 cup raisins
- 12 cup flaked coconut
- 14 cup butter
- 14 cup unsweetened cocoa
- 1 12 cups icing sugar
- 2 -3 tablespoons milk
- 14 teaspoon rum
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350F and lightly grease a 9x13 baking pan.
- In a large bowl beat butter and sugar until fluffy and light in colour.
- Add syrup, eggs and rum, beating at low speed until blended.
- Then add flour and beat again on low speed.
- When flour is blended in stir in raisins and coconut.
- Spread mix in pan and bake 30-35 min's or until toothpick test comes out clean.
- Cool brownies to room temperature then frost.
- Frosting: in a 2 Litre saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.
- Stir in cocoa and bring to a boil, stirring constantly!
- Remove from heat and cool slightly.
- Add rest of ingredients; stir until smooth; spread on brownies.
