Ingredients
- 10 pounds beef
- round steak
- 1 cup flour
- all-purpose
- 5 cups water
- 3 cups ketchup
- 1 1/4 cups brown sugar
- 1 1/4 cups red wine vinegar
- 5 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
Instructions
- Dredge strips of beef in flour, salt and pepper, brown in oil.
- Combine water, ketchup, brown sugar, vinegar, worcestershire, and onion.
- Stir well, heat and pour over beef.
- Bring to boil, reduce heat and cook covered until beef is tender about 2 hours.
- Stir occasionally.
